CONSERVATIVE POLITICS
0February 5, 2012 by admin
True Conservatives believe very strongly in free markets, limited government, individual rights and responsibility and strict adherence to the Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers and as intended originally in its predecessor the Articles of Confederation and later as modified into today’s final document. We believe what the Founders intended is quite clear by the final document and that today, those who favor big government often stray from those intentions and are guilty as millions of Americans proclaim of “legislating from the bench.” Here you will find examples of such abuses and what we, collectively, can do about it.
Here you will be get daily information on the actions of congress, the President, the Courts and all other major aspects of the U.S. Economy. You will receive daily commentary from this blogger on the actions and ramifications of decisions of each branch of government including the likely results of those decisions, supported fully by much data from the best sources the U.S. Has to offer. Most Importantly You Will Get Solutions To America’s Problems in Detail, Clearly Explained. This is a tiny sample of the type of material you will find here and in which you can make your own contribution of opinion, suggestion of articles to read or anything that moves the country forward.
OVERARCHING GOAL – WE MUST REDUCE FEDERAL SPENDING down to 17% of GDP from its present 24% level. The primary sources of HARD DATA more often than not, will be: the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Bureau of Economic Analysis of the Commerce Department (BEA) and other sources considered the most reliable. Other data will come from non-government, non-partisan groups such as the Tax Foundation, which provides mountains of tax data relating to federal and state taxation and even some data moving down to smaller levels of government such as voting districts, among others. The highly respected Watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) rates the spending habits of your hard-earned tax dollars by U.S. Senators and House Members giving scores based on 100% for members who watch taxpayers’ dollars most responsibly down to 0 for those they consider most reckless. CAGW was formed in 1982 by a Prominent Democrat and a Prominent Republican and paid for by the private sector.
You will also find links to articles from the most widely read syndicated journalists of both Left and Right opinion and leaning, throughout the country including such names as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Investors Business Daily, the Washington Post and also the most popular and most respected blogs such as Politico, and The Hill and journalists such as Charles Krauthammer, Howard Kurtz, Byron York and Richard Cohen, among many others, here for example, 2 whose politics lean right and two whose lean left, same as the news sources listed just above.
Your own comments are welcome as long as they are free of obscenities and have a reasonable tone no matter how far apart our opinions. I will respond as time allows. If I receive more than I can handle I will respond to those most prominent in the news and stated most thoughtfully and concisely.
TAXESClarifications on Actual Tax Data, lies by Senators and House Members, what is best for economic growth and individual incomes and the best direction for the future.
I am a trained tax professional. I began my business in 1969. I have stayed abreast of federal tax changes since and followed politicians’ comments in this area with each change, along with studying what effect those changes have had on taxpayers. The IRS tax code is not only one of the most complex compilations of laws and reading materials on this earth but it has been easily manipulated by U.S. Senators, House members and Talking Heads. A great deal of what Americans hear on a daily basis is either a manipulation of what is so or an outright lie, believed by millions, who because of the complexity of the code have either been duped or want to believe because believing the deceit, even spreading it, will put money in their pocket earned by others.
Class Warfare and the buzzwords and buzz phrases such as that above, and others like “the poor” “the disadvantaged”, “those without a voice” and many others which create liberal victim groups in order to justify taking more and more hard earned taxpayer dollars from those who persist day after day and give to the freeloaders who sit back except at voting time when they come to life to make sure they vote for those who will get them more and more largesse from the work of others.
